Xbox Game Pass and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers across Xbox One, Xbox Series S and Xbox Series X are losing 11 games on December 15 in one of the largest departure waves in the subscription service’s history. These dozens of games include some fairly notable games, including the critically acclaimed RPG. More specifically, Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of the Elusive Age will leave the subscription service on December 15th. As you may know, the Xbox One version of the game has an impressive 92 on Metacritic.
In addition to the Square Enix RPG, the following games will also be leaving on December 15th: Aliens: Fireteam Elite (Cloud, Console, PC), Breathedge (Cloud, Console, PC), Firewatch (Cloud, Console, PC), Lake (Cloud, Console, PC) and PC), One Piece: Pirate Warriors 4 (Cloud, Console, and PC), Neoverse (Cloud and Console), Race with Ryan (Cloud, Console, PC), Record of Lodoss War: Deedlit in Wonder Labyrinth (Cloud and Console) and PC), Rory McIlroy PGA Tour (Console) EA Play, and Transformers: Battlegrounds (Cloud, Console, PC).
Through December 15th, all of these games are still available via Xbox Game Pass / Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, which means they are all available for subscribers to purchase at 20 percent off through December 15th. After that, they will leave the subscription service and the discount will go with them. Of course, any and all games can be added again in the future, but this isn’t very common, and when you leave a game and come back, there is usually a significant amount of time between the two events.
Xbox Game Pass and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate are available across Xbox One, Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X, and PC for $10 and $15 per month, respectively.
